We are truly blessed that up to five monks from Wat Thai Buddharam will be joining us for this special event, as well as visiting guest monks.

The chanting will be conducted in Pali in the Thai style. Three famous discourses will be recited: the Discourse on Lovingkindness, the Jewel Discourse, and the Discourse on Blessings. These discourses in particular are believed to have a protective effect on the listener, and are revered as the original words of the Buddha. A guide will be provided in Pali and English.

We hope that this year‘s executive can take advantage of the auspicious occasion of our AGM to formally ask forgiveness from the Triple Gem and from each other for any faults we may have committed, so that we can continue to grow together in happiness & in peace.

Accessibility & sound:
In response to feedback from previous events, we’ll be using microphones to make sure that everyone can hear! The room is fully wheelchair accessible.
